A decent shopping place for the area. There is a barber shop and a few. Small businesses to one side. Also, the is an eye glass business and a clothing store. Unfortunately, due to the tough economy in Port Hawkesbury, it's hard for businesses to stay in this area. However, the Inn is next door. Across the street it Papa's Pub, another eye glass place, an Asian restraunts and McDonald's not far away.
Central to Port Hawkesbury, this one stop shopping centre is the place to go. Groceries, good restaurants and even getting new glasses are just steps apart.
Nice place to hang out
Don't see how they call this a shopping center with what's in there. Wal-Mart is a center in itself. One jewelry store, a wine shop, a small Mark's, a hair shop that's tucked in a corner, a detached Dollarama that can only be accessed from the outside. And a small Giant Tiger with a single toy Ile. No automatic doors for wheelchairs. And doors that are heavy enough to catch the back of your heal if you don't run out of the way. I've helped numerous elderly people open the door as they are not strong enough to open them on their own!!And parking lot where everyone just parks wherever they want with no repercussions.Yup.... it's a pretty dull place.
Eat at the Fleur de Lys if you like wholesome, home made style fare!
